Mix and match paints according to specifications and maintain proper viscosity. Inspect finished work for quality, thickness, adhesion, and uniformity. Follow all company painting procedures and quality-control standards. Safely operate paint booth equipment, ovens, and related tools. Maintain a clean and organized paint area, including equipment and supplies. Follow all safety, PPE, and environmental regulations, including proper disposal of materials. Qualifications 1–3+ years of industrial painting experience preferred (manufacturing, automotive, fabrication, or similar). Experience with prep work, primers, epoxies, urethanes, or powder coating is a plus. Ability to read work orders and follow detailed specifications. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on feet for extended periods. Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities Sand furniture parts and assembled pieces using hand sanders, orbital sanders, and other tools. Smooth surfaces, remove imperfections, and prepare items for staining, painting, or finishing. Inspect wood components for defects, rough spots, glue residue, or damage. Follow product specifications and quality standards for each piece. Maintain clean work areas and properly handle sanding tools and equipment. Work with the finishing team to ensure products meet production timelines. Follow all safety procedures, including PPE and dust-control practices.
